Requirements:
Bachelors degree in textiles, manufacturing, industrial engineering or related discipline
A minimum of 7 years experience in apparel factory engineering or management, including 3 years in a management capacity
Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction methods, manufacturing sewing operations, and work measurement techniques
Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
Responsibilities:
Identify and establish standard allowed minute (SAM) values for established product silhouettes
Level the minute cost of operations by properly translating effectiveness from a sample environment to a production setting.
Establish a manageable and updateable database of SAM values for different garment types and variables
Lead process of establishing optimum operational sequences for all apparel products to minimize SAM in construction |
